Description

HPE Storage LTO Ultrium Tape Drives span nine generations of Linear Tape-Open (LTO) technology, delivering up to 45 TB ^[1] of storage per cartridge and data transfer rates up to 300 MB/s native. Hardware-based AES 256-bit encryption helps protect sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access to tape cartridges. LTFS, an open format for storing data, makes tape media self-describing and file-based for easy access and management. Data rate matching dynamically adjusts the drive to the host system speed, helping maintain continuous streaming and optimize performance.
